Description: BRUCKNERFEST 4-29. 9. 1977: Symphony No.9 (Berliner Staatskapelle, dir. Otmar Suitner; Mass No.3 (Bruckner-Orchester Linz, Wiener Staatsopernchor); Regensburger Domspatzen (Bruckner, Schuetz,Bach etc.); Symphony No.5 (Bruckner-Orchester Linz,dir. Theodor Guschlbauer); Symphony No. 0 "Nullte" (Utah Symphony Orchestra,dir. Maurice Abravanel). These works of Bruckner, among some others, were performed in 1977. Among the soloists there were many famous names (possibly the most interesting soloist, Arthur Grumiaux, had to cancel due to illness): Claudio Arrau, Alexis Weissenberg...and even Kiri Te Kanawa, who sang Brahms & Mahler with Wiener Philharmoniker and Claudio Abbado.
