Description: Valery Gergiev and Munchner Philharmoniker gave a wonderful performance of Bruckner's Seventh and the audience was very pleased. Gergiev was called back five times I think and I also felt great gratitude towards the players of the Munchner Philharmoniker and their Director. Gergiev now gave music it's time and didn't hurry. Only in the Adagio the building up towards the final climax with the cymbal crash sounded to my ears somewhat restless and hurried (mho) but I was very happy with this performance and want to hear MPO playing Bruckner in the future as well.
