Description: A charming and lyrical performance of Bruckner by Nott & RSO. The moderate tempo pleased me, it allowed one to cherish the beauty of this wonderful music and beautiful tone of different instruments. The power and majesty was maybe not the thing on this concert, but this lyrical beauty of Bruckner was enjoyable. In 2017 I attended a concert in Geneva where Jonathan Nott and wonderful pianist Nelson Freire & OSR played Schumann's piano concerto. I didn't remember right away the conductor, but Jonathan Nott it was, and it was a delightful concert indeed (one can find it on youtube).
