Description: This performance of Bruckner's 7th was not for me. The tempo was moderate. That is usually to my liking but this time I felt that music didn't move forward. It lacked flow. The Scherzo was very powerful, the violins sung their "lungs" out. I felt like switching from Lada to Lamborghini ! No doubt this orchestra can play, but I missed the warmth, beauty and majesty that makes this symphony so heavenly. The spirit of this performance was to my ear and soul too harsh and insensitive.
