Description: "My" beautiful Maestro ! The Fifth Symphony on this dvd (and also on 1993 recorded cd) with it's transcendentally beautiful Adagio is maybe the greatest treasure I have. That Adagio is so deep that I am simply entranced by it. And this kind of experiences make me feel deep gratitude for both Bruckner and Celibidache. I was very happy to have a chance to have few words with one lovely member of the MPO who had studied with Celibidache. To him I needed not to explain why that soundworld of Celibidache is so dear to me because he had experienced that wonder himself personally.
