Description: Marzi Nyman's new Violin Concerto was not bad at all. It sounded fresh with nice "swing" and the violin parts were lovely too (sounded more like romantic era than modern) . And it was great to hear Bruckner's "die Nullte". Nice evening altogether with warm atmosphere.

Description: For those who wish to listen Bruckner's F minor (Study Symphony) & D minor Symphonies, this dvd of Christian Thielemann with the Wiener Philharmoniker might be interesting. I have only watched "die Nullte" this far. Enjoyed it, but the picture quality was poor in my opinion and I also had to keep the volume pretty high. This dvd includes also Bruckner's Fifth and an interview/discussions with Thielemann on Bruckner, so this is an interesting issue in many ways.
